A simple framework for quality success
In my career as a QA engineer, sometimes I felt powerless to drive the change I thought was possible. Quality initiatives were too big, too vague and never targeted the specific issues in my teams.
So I started to work out a system that helped us identify and make the changes that mattered for us, and because we focused on small improvements we didn't need senior management buy in - although they were often thrilled with our success!
My Q.E.D. framework creates a rapid feedback loop where teams can quickly identify quality issues, measure them effectively, and test solutions without heavy process overhead. Each cycle should take no more than 2-4 weeks, allowing teams to iterate quickly on quality improvements.
